Music with Ms. Nora from MacPhail
This month, Ms. Nora came with many interesting musical instruments. She brought Temple Blocks, Tubular Bells, Spoon Clappers, Xylophone, Drum, Harp, Ukulele, and Guiro. The two time that she visited us, she read two very interesting folk tales called "The Elves and The Shoemaker" and "The Three Bears." While some kids playing with the temple blocks, the other kids walked around them singing "The Cobbler," after we read the elves and the shoemaker. When Ms. Nora read the three bears, we used musical instruments such as personal drums for papa bear, guiro for mama bear and jingle bells for baby bear while we listened to the tune of the three bears. We also moved around the classroom pretending to be bears who saw a rabbit who saw a mouse who saw a hole and jumped in it.
