Last Day of 2019

On our last day of 2019 before the winter break, we had a little party. We've been reading the Gingerbread Cowboy by Janet Squires so we've decided that we're going to make Gingerbread Cowboy. The children had lots of fun watching Ms. Alanna carved the dough into a cowboy and used the rest of the dough shaped into their favorite cookie cutters.
But just like in the story, after we baked the gingerbread cowboy, it ran away! So we had to look everywhere in the building and catch it so we can eat it! Fortunately, we caught the gingerbread cowboy at the front desk! We ate it and it was delicious!

What a great way of ending an awesome year! I am so glad that you were actually able to come up with this idea of allowing the kids enjoy the day and also enhance the talents and skills they got! This article made me miss what I used to do when I was still attending our Church activities before. If I will be given another chance to do so, then I will do it all over again just to witness the smiles on the kids' faces. I hope you will continue to do such thing and make these kids happy and satisfied.
