11/18/2016

We had a little celebration in honor of some of our children who has Hispanic heritage. We are very thankful to the generosity of our families who donate some ingredients to make authentic simple traditional Ecuadorian food in the classroom. For the celebration, we made Banana and cheese empanada and Ecuadorian tropical fruit salad called Come Y Bebe (all Spanish speaking children in our classroom have Ecuadorian heritage). We also had fun hitting the piñata, read a book called "New Shoes for Silvia," and learned some south American tradition through Global Wonder video.
