Fish Experts Visit

Preschool Pals had a visit from Mr. Mike & Ms. Pat, two fish experts from Minneapolis. They are fish enthusiasts. They have been fishing the Minnesota Lakes for ages and they are fish hobbyists as well with fish tanks in their home. Our own Ms. Collette was kind enough introducing us and we got great information and many questions answered. 
The children just couldn't help themselves sharing their knowledge with them, they kept showering them with the information they know from the project and their home. It was more like a discussion than a learning session although we learned a lot of new information from Mr. Mike. 
We then transferred what we learned to the paper, where children make a picture of a fish. You can see that some of them drew arrows to the fins and some of them drew the gills.
