Book-A-Ween

On October 30th, we had Book-A-Ween where children and teachers came to school as their beloved book characters. We made a book as each child was an illustrator of a nursery rhyme favorite "Baa Baa Black Sheep." We also had a special snack: "Banana Split," taken from the book we all love "Otto Goes to School," by Todd Parr. Then we had a special guest (Ms. Casey) who came and read "The Little Old Lady Who Wasn't Afraid of Anything." She came all dressed up as the little old lady.
